Sufi Self-Piercing Demonstration

We monitored a Sufi practitioner during a self-piercing demonstration. We were able to see the brain changes that accompanied this dramatic demonstration of pain control. This was conducted at the 2012 Annual Meeting of the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback (AAPB) in Portland, supervised by Dr. Erik Peper and Dr. Howard Hall.
